What does N2T mean? N2T is the community shorthand for the Norwich to Tilbury overhead pylon line proposed by National Grid. This was previously called East Anglian GREEN (EAG) but was rebranded by National Grid as part of their “Great Grid Upgrade”.
National Grid opened up a second non-statutory consultation in the Summer of 2023, which showed a more detailed route of their onshore option for electricity transmission. Again, ignoring the community calls for an offshore option to be given serious consideration.

This particular non-statutory consultation period is closed, but a statutory consultation period is expected in 2024, where more detailed information is expected to be available.
